The Old town of Kranj is a historical medieval town that stands on an outstanding geographical position – it stands on a conglomerate outcrop between the rivers Sava and Kokra. Kranj is the only town in the world that rises above a 30-metre-deep canyon. The Old town of Kranj is one of the most charming towns in Slovenia, with an interesting Gothic and Baroque architecture and with an amazing view of the Alps. The preserved old town is known for its medieval skyline shaped town walls, the castle, and church towers. At every step, you can feel the love for culture and the greatest Slovenian poet, France Prešeren.

Podbrezje is a small, modest and quiet village in the Municipality of Naklo in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The settlement lies on a river terrace on the left bank of the Sava River and represents a typical Slovenian village and the life in it. Since the early 19th century Podbrezje has been known for its orchards, which can be seen around the village still today. After the Second World War, in Podbrezje stayed and was active a Yugoslav labor camp for political prisoners. This picturesque village is adorned with the beautiful Tabor Church on a rock and the beautiful view of the mountains.

Brezje, a traditional Slovenian village near the Alps, is the most significant religious place in Slovenia. The greatest attraction in Brezje is the Basilica of St. Mary Help of Christians of Brezje, which is a Slovenian National Marian Shrine. Every year thousands of pilgrims from all over the world visit the Basilica of St. Mary. In 1988 the pope Janez Pavel II proclaimed that the church became a »small basilica«, which he also visited in 1996.

The Vintgar gorge is a natural wonder located in the Triglav National Park, created by the crystal-clear water of the Radovna River. The 1.6 km long wooden walkway leads the way around the gorge to get you as close to the turquoise water and its formations (waterfalls, pools and rapids) as possible. Beside the amazing natural creations, onlookers can also admire man-made sights: the old stone bridge of the Bohinj Railway, constructed in 1906 and the dam from which the water is routed to the small Vintgar hydroelectric power plant. Towards the end of the gorge, onlookers become dazzled by the Šum waterfall, the largest river waterfall in Slovenia. Experience tranquility, calmness and the most intact nature.

The Peričnik waterfall is 52m high and it belongs among the highest waterfalls in Slovenia. The waterfall is protected as a natural sight and it's considered as one of the most spectacular ones in Slovenia. The Peričnik waterfall is also one of the rarest waterfalls, where it is possible to walk from the back of the waterfall.

The Vršič Mountain Pass (1611m) is the highest road pass in the Eastern Julian Alps and offers an incredible view of the mountain area. On the way to Vršič you can see the wooden Russian Chapel - an artwork that serves as a memory and as a reminder. The chapel was build in 1917 (during the First World War) by Russian prisoners of war in memory of the people who lost their life during the construction of the Vršič Pass road. Along the way you can also see one of the most beautiful works of nature - the stone face of Heathen Maiden. According to the legend, the mythical creature, Heathen Maiden, prophesied to the son of a hunter that he will shoot the Goldhorn. Other heathen women got angry because of this unacceptable prophecy and turned the prophetess into a rock.
