Itinerary: Novo mesto, Otočec Castle, Kostanjevica na Krki, Ljubljana.
The day will start with a visit to the medieval town of Novo mesto, which is the capital of the hilly Dolenjska region, embraced by the Krka River. A special trait of the town is also its proximity to large wine-growing areas, where you can taste excellent local wine. We will continue our trip and reach the Otočec Castle, which is located in the heart of unspoiled nature: on an island in the middle of the Krka River. After visiting the castle, we will also visit Kostanjevica na Krki, a small town that is known primarily for its old center, which is built on an artificial island in the middle of the Krka River.
