The day will start with a visit to the medieval town of Novo mesto, which is the capital of the hilly Dolenjska region, embraced by the Krka River. A special trait of the town is also its proximity to large wine-growing areas, where you can taste excellent local wine. We will then continue our trip and reach the Otočec Castle, which is located in the heart of unspoiled nature, on an island in the middle of the Krka River. After visiting the castle, we will also visit Kostanjevica na Krki, a small town that is known primarily for its old center, which is built on an artificial island in the middle of the Krka River. Because of frequent floods, the town is also known as the "Venice of Dolenjska". At the end of the trip we will visit and discover also Ljubljana - the capital city of Slovenia.
